With €597 million allocated by the Ministry of the Environment, the long-awaited Click Day to access the new incentives for buying an electric vehicle finally arrived. The law offers citizens up to €11,000 in non-repayable incentives for the purchase of an electric car (with a ceiling of €40,000 in annual salaries) and up to €20,000 for microbusinesses to purchase commercial vehicles. The program is exclusively available to microbusinesses and individuals who are either domiciled in or reside in functional urban areas (cities with a population exceeding 50,000 and commuting areas). The acquisition of a new electric car must take place concurrently with the scrapping of a combustion engine vehicle (up to Euro 5). Small firms will be eligible for a maximum of two bonuses, with the incentive amount covering up to 30% of the vehicle's purchase price.
