Paintings, sculptures, sacred furnishings, and archeological items represent a journey through thirty-five centuries of history, from antiquity to the present day, providing the public with a broad and renewed perspective on the amazing richness of Italy's regional cultural heritage. The Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome is the site of the final exhibition of the twentieth edition of the three-year program for the preservation and enhancement of Italy's artistic heritage, "Restituzioni 2025", which Intesa Sanpaolo has been promoting in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture for over thirty-six years. The exhibition showcases the outcomes of a season of restorations involving over 120 pieces from 67 owners, including public and diocesan museums, churches, houses of worship, and archaeological sites across Italy. The exhibition includes masterpieces by masters such as Giovanni Bellini, Giulio Romano, Battistello Caracciolo, Luca Giordano, Mario Sironi, and Pino Pascali, as well as artifacts of exceptional historical and technical interest, such as the samurai bow and Siamese boat from the Ducal Castle of Agliè. Remarkable is the restoration of the Retablo with the Adoration of the Magi from the Church of the Santi Apostoli e Nazaro Maggiore in Milan — the result of collaboration between Italy and Belgium, carried out by the Institut Royal du Patrimoine Artistique in Brussels.
