An emotional ceremony took place at the University of Florence, where Roberto Bolle received an honorary master’s degree in Practices, Languages and Cultures of Communication. The title was presented by Rector Alessandra Petrucci, who praised the famed ballet star for elevating dance into a universal language that connects people across borders and generations. Visibly moved as he addressed the packed Great Hall, Bolle reflected on his early years and spoke tenderly of his parents’ unwavering support. He also highlighted the mission of the Roberto Bolle Foundation, dedicated to promoting dance and expanding its reach. The internationally acclaimed artist is already preparing to return to the stage with Caravaggio and his celebrated Roberto Bolle and Friends gala, which will tour Dubai and London before returning to Milan from November 14 to 16. A well-deserved tribute to an artist whose grace, discipline, and passion continue to inspire new generations of performers.
