A 21-year-old soccer player from Lacco Ameno has been reported by the Carabinieri in connection with the burglary that took place at the residence of a manager of Real Forio, a competing team in the Eccellenza division. The theft occurred between Friday and Saturday night, when the homeowner awoke to discover that someone had broken into his home and stolen €2,000 in cash. The investigation began right after the complaint was lodged. Analyzing footage from neighborhood security cameras, the Carabinieri observed a hooded figure lurking near the house and, due to its recognized features, identified the image as the young soccer player. The 21-year-old was apprehended a few hours later in Chiaia di Forio, where he was found with a bag containing recent purchases and €1,400 in cash, which was part of the stolen amount. The recovered funds will be returned to the manager, while the young man has been reported.
