The 68th edition of Zecchino d'Oro ended successfully. The victory went to Emma Dakoli, 9 years old, from Monza, with “Ci pensa il vento”. In second place “Tu puoi essere’” by Laura Palumbo, 10 years old, and in third “Boomer Boom Boom” by Ana Estela Godoy Duarte Marconato, which also won the award for most radio-friendly song. Alyssa Ciliberti's "Uffa le tabelline" and Ambra Cau's "Disco" took fourth and fifth place, respectively. The grand finale, hosted by Carlo Conti and televised on Rai Uno, featured songs ranging from pop to folk and covered topics like friendship, dreams, imagination, and the environment. Conti underlined the significance of re-discovering the joys of ordinary life and helping those in need. Thanks to the generosity of viewers, tens of thousands of meals were donated to people in need through the project “Operazione pane”, linked to the children’s music event that funds Franciscan soup kitchens.
