On Sunday, November 30, four international activists, three of whom were Italian, were injured in an attack by Israeli settlers at Ein al-Duyuk, near Jericho in the West Bank. Wafa, a Palestinian news agency, reported the incident. The fourth activist involved is a Canadian citizen. According to reports, roughly ten masked attackers rushed into the activists' home at dawn, beating them and taking their personal things, including passports and cell phones. The injured were transported to the Jericho Hospital for treatment. Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani acknowledged that the three Italians are not in critical condition: two have minor injuries, while the third will need to rest for several days. The activists have received assistance from local officials and have filed a complaint with the Palestinian police. The Italian Consulate General in Jerusalem is monitoring the situation and communicating with their fellow Italians.
