The 2026 Sanremo Music Festival is taking form. After listening to over 300 songs, artistic director Carlo Conti has officially confirmed the lineup of the prominent names participating for the 76th edition, and, in collaboration with Rai, has decided to increase the number of competitors from 26 to 30, underlining the vibrancy of the Italian music landscape. "This edition also starts off on a high note, showcasing a significant portion of our country's musical output, including new debuts and major returns to the Ariston stage", Conti tells Tg1. Among the participating artists are Tommaso Paradiso, Arisa, Ermal Meta, Raf, Patty Pravo, Malika Ayane, Francesco Renga, Michele Bravi, Fedez & Masini, J-Ax, Dargen D'Amico, Levante, and Elettra Lamborghini. The song titles will be announced on December 14 during "Sarà Sanremo," live on Rai 1 from the Sanremo Casino. The Festival will then take place from February 24 to 28, 2026, at the Ariston Theatre, with live coverage on Rai 1, Radio2, and RaiPlay.
