Italy is gearing up for the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, with Milan's shop windows glowing to represent the atmosphere and enthusiasm of the big event. Participation in this initiative is extended to all members of Confcommercio, the confederation representing commercial, tourism, and service-based enterprises, encompassing businesses located in Milan, Lodi, Monza, and Brianza. Certain product exclusions may apply, contingent upon sponsorship agreements and partnerships established with Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026. Thanks to an agreement signed by Confcommercio Milano, Lodi, Monza, and Brianza, and Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, participating businesses will have the opportunity to play an important part in the upcoming international sporting event. They will be able to display a window sticker dedicated to the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in their shop windows until the conclusion of the Paralympics on March 15, 2026. The sticker will feature the logos of Fan26, the official digital community of Milano Cortina 2026, and Confcommercio Milano, Lodi, Monza, and Brianza. The sticker, designed specifically for Confcommercio members, includes a QR code linking to the Fan26 platform, allowing citizens, tourists, and enthusiasts to engage interactively with the upcoming event, which will open on February 6, 2026 at the Meazza Stadium. To get and display the sticker, interested businesses must sign an agreement with the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, which will outline the requirements they must follow. The initiative comes at a symbolic moment—just about two months before the Games—while the city becomes increasingly involved in the event amid the vibrant Christmas shopping season and commercial expectations regarding the economic impact of Milan Cortina 2026.
