From January 1, 2026, Pietro Beccari will make history as the first Italian to lead the Fashion and Leather Goods division of LVMH, the world’s largest luxury conglomerate.
The role adds to his current position as President of Louis Vuitton, the group’s most profitable and influential brand, which he has led since February 2023.
Born in Parma in 1967, Beccari built his career across Europe and the United States, starting in international marketing roles at companies such as Benckiser, Parmalat and Henkel, where he became Vice President of the Haircare division.
He joined LVMH in 2006 as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Louis Vuitton, where he oversaw some of the brand’s most successful global campaigns, including the widely acclaimed “Core Values” series.
In 2012, he was appointed CEO of Fendi, revitalizing the Roman fashion house with bold public events such as the runway show staged at the Trevi Fountain in 2016.
His biggest success followed at Christian Dior, which he led from 2018 to 2023. During that time, the brand achieved record revenue, earning praise from LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault, who described the results as “exceptional.”
