Eni has inked a long-term LNG (liquefied natural gas) sales agreement with Thailand's Gulf Development Company, which reinforces the company's aim of diversifying its worldwide portfolio and establishing strong, multi-year connections in major foreign markets. Eni has finalized an agreement to supply 0.8 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for a decade to Gulf, a leading private power generator in Thailand. LNG will be shipped to the country's regasification stations beginning in 2027. This contract follows a two-year agreement inked by the two companies in 2024 to deliver about 0.5 MTPA of LNG beginning in 2025. This agreement is Eni's first long-term LNG delivery to Thailand, bolstering its footprint in Asia.
