Luisa Rabbia, 55, is an Italian artist who lives and works in both Turin and New York. She expresses herself through drawing, painting, sculpture, and installations, focusing on topics such as time, memory, and the relationship between the inner and outside worlds. In the Meridians section of Art Basel Miami Beach 2025, which featured monumental and oversized works, curator Yasmil Raymond recently selected the large triptych "The Network", created by Luisa Rabbia this year, in which the figures appear to emerge from the canvas as if rising from the living earth. Rabbia adapts the march from Pellizza da Volpedo's "The Fourth Estate" into a female-led choral advance. Recently, the Italian artist exhibited in Boston at the gallery opened by Mario Diacono and at the ADAA fair at the Park Armory in New York, in dialogue with African American artist Joyce J. Scott.
