Until December 14, São Paulo will host the 2025 Women's Club World Championship at the Ginásio do Pacaembu. Italy sends two representatives to the event, both of whom have great expectations: Savino del Bene Scandicci, making their debut appearance, and Imoco Conegliano, the defending champions who have dominated the international stage in recent seasons. Conegliano is making his fifth World Championship appearance, having previously won three titles and lost one final. Scandicci, on the other hand, won its ticket with a fantastic second-place result in the Champions League and is only a "rookie" on paper. The groups see the Tuscan team placed in Pool A with Brazil’s Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde, Kazakhstan’s Zhetysu VC and Peru’s Alianza Lima. In Pool B, Imoco will face Egypt’s Zamalek SC, the U.S. Orlando Valkyries and the local team Dentil Praia. For Prosecco DOC Imoco Conegliano, established in 2012 following the dissolution of the prior local club, the World Championship signifies the most recent milestone in a distinguished sporting history that has exemplified excellence. In just over a decade, the yellow-and-blue club has turned into one of the world's volleyball elites, winning the Scudetto, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa, Champions League, and Club World Cup all in one season last year.
