"Export figures are highly encouraging; we are experiencing growth in numerous countries, and overall, exports are increasing this year. Our action plan is functioning; we aim to reach €700 billion in exports by the end of 2027. Exports are increasing in practically every country throughout the world. This suggests that Italian products are popular, despite tariffs and difficulties. Keep in mind that exports account for about 40% of gross domestic product. Starting January 1st, there will be a shake-up at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with a new directorate completely focused on growth. It will be a ministry that focuses more on assisting our businesses. No Italian entrepreneur working outside of Italy's boundaries will ever be alone; this is the message we want to send". Antonio Tajani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, spoke on the sidelines of the third edition of the National Conference on Exports and Business Internationalization in Milan. "Thanks to our extensive range of products, we rank second in the world, after China, in the number of products available for the market", he added. "This considerable adaptability, coupled with the extensive range of product variations, facilitates our capacity to be dynamic and establish a presence even within developing markets". The event aims to bring together entrepreneurs and representatives from Italian diplomatic missions.
