More than two months remain before the official ceremony opening the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, yet it is already known that on February 6, Milan’s San Siro stadium will host a star-studded lineup of Italian and international celebrities. The latest confirmed guest is Italian actor Pierfrancesco Favino, known for roles in major Hollywood films such as 'Night at the Museum', 'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian', 'Miracle at St. Anna', 'Angels & Demons', and 'World War Z'. "His performance will serve as a tribute to the harmony between territories and the dialogue between city and mountain through the interpretation of a profoundly evocative text", the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation announced. Additionally, the performance will feature original compositions performed by violinist Giovanni Zanon, fostering a dialogue intended to provide audiences with a deeply immersive experience. Favino—winner, among other honors, of the Volpi Cup at the 2020 Venice Film Festival for 'Padrenostro'—joins the list of honorary guests. Above all stands Mariah Carey, announced a few days ago, who will fill the stadium with the unmistakable power of her voice.
