The historic Quirinale Gardens have been returned to the city of Rome after renovation works carried out by the Department of Environmental Protection. Two date palms have been planted in the Carlo Alberto Garden to frame the statue of King Carlo Alberto, as per the original 1889 design. This is complemented by the cleaning of flowerbeds from invasive plants and the pruning of Wisteria, Magnolia Grandiflora, and Laurus Nobilis. The pond also takes center stage again after about ten years, now operational and enriched with 90 Osmanthus along the border. The 10,000-liter cistern in the nearby Sant'Andrea Garden has been cleaned, and the electrical panel and irrigation control unit have been restored, including sprinkler replacement. The vegetation has been completely renewed with the replanting of 30 Laurus Nobilis, the planting of 4 palm trees and 5 flowering Pomegranates, and the laying of 500 square meters of lawn. In the second garden, water features return, thanks to the restoration of the fountain.
