Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has approved its 2026–2030 industrial plan, forecasting over €50 billion in new orders and a sharp increase in profitability. The company expects net profits to reach around €500 million by the end of the decade. A key pillar of the plan is defense, with production capacity at Italian shipyards set to double to meet rising domestic and international demand. The strategy also includes investments in digital ship technologies, sustainable propulsion systems, and underwater capabilities.
