Hiroshi Shimada is the new CEO and President of Daikin Air Conditioning Italy. He will oversee the Japanese multinational's Italian branch, succeeding Geert Vos, who will take on a new leadership role within Daikin Europe N.V., according to a company statement. Shimada has spent nearly thirty years with the Daikin Group. "Starting this new chapter as the leader of Daikin Italy signifies, above all, building upon the remarkable achievements made to date by the company and its team", states Shimada. My objective is to maintain the integrity of what has been established, while also actively advancing the necessary changes to enhance our agility, innovation, and market orientation".
