The exhibition "The Country of Biodiversity. Italy's Natural Heritage" returns to Rome at the National Museum of 21st Century Arts, organized by National Geographic Italy and the National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC), the first Italian biodiversity research center funded by the NRRP-Next Generation EU. National Geographic Italy has selected approximately fifty photographs by The Wild Line—a collective of nature photographers composed of Marco Colombo, Bruno D'Amicis, and Ugo Mellone—that evocatively explore the complex relationship between humanity and the environment, as well as the impact of human activities on biodiversity. The exhibition, accessible to the public from January 22nd to February 27th, aims to harness the power of imagery to communicate a vital message to an intergenerational audience: the preservation of Italian and Mediterranean biodiversity through the strength of knowledge, science, and innovation. The multimedia display is a true journey of discovery into the wildest and least-known aspects of our nation's flora and fauna. The narrative unfolds through the perspectives of three nature photographers and scientists, who witness the remarkable diversity of Italian biodiversity.
