Not just a comic book, but a journey into Italy’s roots.On the occasion of the National Day of Dialect and Local Languages, held every January 17, issue no. 3660 will be available—alongside the Italian version—in Emilia-Romagna, Liguria, Calabria, and Valle d’Aosta in four special editions. The story ‘Paperino lucidatore a domicilio’, written by Vito Stabile with drawings by Francesco D’Ippolito, has been translated respectively into Bolognese, Genoese, Catanzarese, and Valdostan Francoprovençal. Andrea Freccero created a customized cover starring Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge. Copies of the narrative in dialect will only be available at newsstands in the regional language area, while the Italian version will be distributed in other regions. This is an essential release that introduces readers of all ages to Italian language heritage.
