A contemporary art installation extending ten kilometers and chronicling the history of humanity through movement: it will be named CLIO, situated in the Margham Desert near Dubai, and aspires to establish itself as a cultural landmark for the United Arab Emirates. Beginning in 2027, the installation will be inaugurated at CLIO Desert Park, a project spearheaded by entrepreneur Massimiliano Suglia, who endeavors to establish the largest artwork ever conceived. CLIO's creative power is Agron Hoti, a world-renowned modern visual artist. The architectural vision is directed by Matteo Antonelli, who conceptualized the pathways and observation locations within the work. However, producing a massive artwork in the desert poses a significant challenge: endurance. Ensuring CLIO's stability and integrity in such an extreme environment necessitates exceptional expertise: this responsibility has been entrusted to Cinzia Pasquali, one of the world's most esteemed art restorers, who directed what has been recognized as the restoration of the century, Leonardo da Vinci's Saint Anne at the Louvre. At the core of the initiative will be Clio House, a cultural center envisioned as a platform for fostering international dialogue. This area will host conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and meetings, bringing together artists, institutions, and people from all over the world.
