Leonardo, through its subsidiary Leonardo US Corporation, has agreed to acquire Enterprise Electronics Corporation (EEC), a US company that develops, manufactures, and maintains meteorological radar instruments and satellite receiving stations for meteorology, hydrology, research, and aviation, both in the military and civil sectors. The acquisition is expected to finalize in the first quarter of 2026. EEC and Leonardo have over 1,500 systems installed in 120 countries. This agreement, as stated, reflects Leonardo's dedication to investing within the United States. EEC will continue to operate under its own brand and identity, while the acquisition will boost the two firms' joint commercial positioning.
