The Communications Observatory of Agcom, the Italian Communications Regulatory Authority, conducted an analysis of online e-commerce platforms, which recorded 38,254,000 unique users in September 2025, representing a decline of 549,000 visitors compared to the same month in 2024. Amazon-owned e-commerce sites and applications ranked first, with 34,829,000 unique users (down 2.6% from September 2024), followed by Temu (PDD Holding) with 23,86,000 users (+55.7%) and eBay with 14,541,000 visitors (-11.3%). With regard to the trend in unique users of platforms offering exclusively paid video-on-demand services, as of last September, with 15.7 million unique users, there was a contraction compared to September 2024 (-210 thousand users, -1.3%). On average, in the third quarter of 2025, Netflix had 8.3 million unique users, a 1.6% rise over the same time in 2024. Amazon Prime Video ranks next, with its websites and applications attracting an average of 7.2 million visitors (a 5.5% increase compared to the average users during the first nine months of 2024). Disney+ follows with 3.7 million internet users (+0.8%), Dazn is visited by 2.3 million unique users (up 7.3%), and finally, Now (Sky) with 1.3 million average unique visitors (-7.7%).
