ARTNews, the longest-running and most authoritative international publication dedicated to contemporary art, founded in New York in 1902, is arriving in Italy and joining the Urban Vision Group publishing network. The project is the result of a collaboration between Urban Vision Group's experience in developing an innovative publishing network—capable of bringing stories, visions, and content beyond traditional channels, directly to the streets and squares via its Digital Out-of-Home network—and the Treccani Italian Encyclopedia Institute's cultural heritage and editorial expertise, which will lead the editorial staff of ARTNews Italia, with Massimo Bray serving as Editor-in-Chief. This collaboration is establishing a novel magazine model: ARTNews Italia is dedicated to providing a global perspective on the contemporary art scene, as well as a window into the present. The publication will feature original content, interviews, and in-depth analyses of collections and exhibitions. The first edition of ARTnews Italia, released quarterly in January, is supplemented by an online presence, introducing a groundbreaking publishing endeavor like ARTNews to Europe for the very first time.
