With a surface area of olive oil production exceeding 1.04 million hectares, 619,000 olive oil companies, and over 4,200 active mills, the Italian olive oil supply chain demonstrates its international excellence and strategic significance for our country. This heritage also extends to Italy's prominence in Europe in terms of certified quality, as evidenced by the 42 PDO and 8 PGI extra virgin olive oils, which are a testament to the country's territorial identity and added value. In this context, the second edition of EVOLIO Expo 2026 is approaching. The B2B fair dedicated to extra virgin olive oil will take place from Thursday, January 29 to Saturday, January 31, at Fiera del Levante in Bari. Over the three days, alongside 150 exhibitors, 20 associations, institutions, and approximately 50 international buyers from GDO, retail, and Ho.Re.Ca. sectors from 16 countries, including the U.S., Germany, Japan, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia, EVOLIO Expo will feature more than 100 conferences, talks, and events addressing key strategic topics in the olive oil sector: innovation, sustainability, oleotourism, health, and the cultural and gastronomic promotion of extra virgin olive oil. In addition to the institutional conferences, EVOLIO Expo offers oil-food workshops, book presentations, gastronomic insights, sampling, and the "Ercole Olivario – Selezione Puglia" awards ceremony.
