Simest, a public company committed to the internationalization of Italian companies, has set aside €300 million to encourage direct investments and the expansion of the national manufacturing industry in the US market. This initiative is a component of the Export Action Plan, which is being promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is designed to enhance the visibility of Italian companies in their primary export market outside the EU. Simest will be able to invest directly in the capital of Italian companies' US subsidiaries or form joint ventures with local partners, including tailor-made solutions. In addition, further funds are available through resources from Fund 394, intended for equity investments in start-ups and innovative SMEs that aim to develop in the United States.
