From February 6th to 8th, Bologna will host Arte Fiera, Italy's longest-running art fair and an important event in the modern and contemporary art sectors. The fair, now in its 49th edition, marks the start of a new artistic cycle under Davide Ferri's supervision, with Enea Righi serving as operations director. The title of this issue, "Cosa sarà" ("What Will Be"), indicates a forward-thinking perspective and a reflection on the progress of the contemporary art system. The event will take place in BolognaFiere's traditional pavilions 25 and 26, and will include a dynamic interplay between historical twentieth-century study and contemporary artistic practice. The two pavilions that have historically hosted it, illuminated from start to finish by daylight, display works from the historical twentieth century in dialogue with contemporary art and the research of the most recent generations. 174 galleries are present, with 12 exhibitors from the publishing department and 15 from the institutional section.
