American rapper Snoop Dogg, a member of the NBCUniversal team for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, was among the official torchbearers who appeared on Wednesday, February 4, in the town of Gallarate, just outside Milan. The artist had already impressed the audience in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he wore a knight's costume during an equestrian event and carried the Olympic Flame before the opening ceremony. "I'm very excited to be returning with my friend Mike Tirico for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Games. Snoop Dogg said, “The D-O-Double-G will be there, and I can’t wait to celebrate with the athletes and their families". Still, the rapper is not the only international star participating at Milano Cortina 2026. At the opening ceremony on February 6 at Milan’s San Siro Stadium, numerous stars are expected, foremost among them Mariah Carey, the first international artist officially announced. Andrea Bocelli, Laura Pausini, Ghali, Sabrina Impacciatore, Pierfrancesco Favino, Matilda De Angelis, and Snoop Dogg are among those scheduled to perform alongside her.
