The Ferrero Group has completed another substantial transaction: the $3.1 billion acquisition of WK Kellogg Co., a historic American leader in the breakfast cereal sector, and has approved its consolidated financial statements for the 2024/2025 fiscal year, which generated revenues of $19.4 billion. This, according to group executives, is the most recent significant development in an expansion in the United States that impacts both the market and the industrial structure. In North America, where Ferrero will produce the Nutella variant with peanuts, the company has announced the expansion of the Brantford plant, in Ontario, with 500 new jobs. The expansion will bring Nutella Biscuits production outside of Europe for the first time. The group also inaugurated a new Kinder Bueno production facility in Bloomington, Illinois, which resulted in the creation of 200 new jobs and approximately 160,000 square feet of production space. Ferrero, a family-owned group established in 1946 in Alba, Italy, is celebrating its 80th anniversary. The company has operations in over 170 countries and offers a variety of products, such as ice cream, pastries and baked goods, breakfast cereals, and healthier alternatives.
