After conquering the world’s most prestigious fashion runways, Irina Shayk is set to face a different kind of spotlight: the iconic staircase of the Teatro Ariston. The internationally renowned supermodel will serve as co-host for the third night of the Sanremo Music Festival, alongside artistic director and presenter Carlo Conti and singer Laura Pausini.
The announcement was made by Conti himself, who praised Shayk as “one of the most beautiful women in the world” and highlighted her versatility beyond modeling, including her work as an actress. “Many people sing at Sanremo, but many also host it,” Conti said, expressing enthusiasm for her debut on the festival stage.
This year’s edition of Sanremo features a rotating lineup of co-hosts, with a different guest joining the main presenters each evening. Alongside Shayk, confirmed names include Turkish actor Can Yaman, singer Achille Lauro, comedian Lillo and Italian actress Pilar Fogliati.
Shayk’s presence adds a strong international touch to the festival, reinforcing Sanremo’s growing global appeal while staying rooted in its long-standing tradition.
