Matteo Mancuso’s musical year — the multifaceted guitarist — comes into full swing with the launch of his international tour, which sees him starring on North American stages and which, after Los Angeles, will continue across the West Coast, the Midwest and the East Coast up to the final stop in Chicago at the end of February. This new international chapter definitively establishes the young Sicilian musician (who is 30 years old) as one of the foremost personalities in the contemporary guitar industry. Following the US leg, the tour will continue in Europe between April and May, with a series of dates in prominent Italian cities: Catania, Palermo, Rende, Bari, Florence, Turin, Milan, Padua, Bologna, and Rome, from April 9th to 21st. The tour will provide a live demonstration of his new repertoire and confirm the strength of a project that finds its natural dimension on stage. Along with the globe tour, the new album, Route 96, will be released in Italy on February 20th in physical format. Mancuso's playing styles range from classical to electric guitar, where he has created a distinct finger technique that enables him to communicate a highly original musical vocabulary. His YouTube channel has over a hundred thousand subscribers and is popular worldwide. Dweezil Zappa, Joe Bonamassa, and Stef Burns are among many who have praised and recognized him. A scholarship awarded to him by the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston was decisive in his training.
