Turin celebrates the Vermouth Fair on February 21st and 22nd, marking the 240th anniversary of the beverage's birth under the city's porticoes in 1786. The National Museum of the Risorgimento will be the focal point of the event. “In this place we recount Italy’s unification, of which vermouth is part as a soft-power tool to narrate our territories abroad,” explains museum director Alessandro Bollo. "Vermouth is an ambassador. Cavour, Italy's finest diplomat, understood that our traditions were the gateway to international channels". New features for 2026 include a B2B day on Monday, February 23rd, for networking between producers and buyers, as well as a Fuori Salone event featuring workshops, starred dinners, and tours on the "Vermouth Cabrio" bus. Key players include the Carpano brand, as well as Strucchi, Martini & Rossi, Cinzano, Cocchi, and Bordiga.
