Pino Colizzi, historic Italian voice actor, has died. He lent his voice to actors such as Michael Douglas, Jack Nicholson, James Caan, Richard Dreyfuss, Omar Sharif and Franco Nero. Among his most renowned voices were Robert Powell in Zeffirelli's "Jesus of Nazareth", Christopher Reeve in the first three "Superman" films, Robert De Niro in "The Godfather: Part II", and, most memorably, Martin Sheen in Francis Ford Coppola's masterwork "Apocalypse Now." Born in Rome in 1937, he was also an actor, most notably in Franco Zeffirelli's 1999 film "Tea with Mussolini". He was married to his colleague Manuela Andrei, with whom he had two children: Carlo and Chiara.
