Federico Frusciante, an Italian YouTuber and cinema critic, passed away at the age of 52. His family shared the news in a message on the creator's social media profiles. "It is with enormous pain and profound sadness that we announce Federico's untimely passing", the post read. Countless condolence messages have poured in to remember the Tuscan YouTuber, who, along with Francesco Alò, Davide Marra, and Mattia Ferrari, was the protagonist of the "Criticoni" collective and format, a prominent online community for their film reviews and comments. For over twenty years he owned Livorno’s historic film rental shop “Videodrome,” a name chosen in homage to the Videodrome cult classic. He was also well-known in Livorno for his outspoken opinions on films.
