Duran Duran will perform in the Royal Palace of Caserta on July 9th, bringing one of the most legendary repertoires in international music to the historic Vanvitellian complex. With over 100 million recordings sold and a career spanning more than four decades, the British band remains a global force capable of transcending generations while maintaining its charm and personality. The original members will appear on stage: Simon Le Bon on vocals, John Taylor on bass, Nick Rhodes on keyboards, and Roger Taylor on drums. Duran Duran, formed in Birmingham in the late 1970s, were crucial players in the so-called "Second British Invasion" in the United States in the 1980s, thanks to an original mix of new wave, sophisticated pop, and striking visual imagery, aided by the golden age of MTV. Songs like "Hungry Like the Wolf", "The Reflex", "Ordinary World", and "Come Undone" have become generational soundtracks, mixing energy, sorrow, and melodic sophistication. The Royal Palace of Caserta was chosen for a reason: the majesty of the Bourbon site will interact with a band whose stage beauty and aesthetics are well-known. Anticipation is already strong, and tickets will be available on Friday, February 20th.
