Callipo, one of the most well-known Italian tuna brands, is speeding expansion and reinforcing its development plan, with a clear focus on growth and investment. After surpassing the symbolic €100 million revenue threshold in 2024, the historic Calabrian company further solidified its position in 2025, concluding the financial year with €112 million. The key driver of these results was canned fish, with tuna being the indisputable star of the product portfolio. The segment achieved a turnover of €93.2 million, up 4.5% over the previous year. Volumes climbed even more dramatically, climbing 5.2% to 9.64 million kg sold, confirming the brand's market strength and demand stability. However, overseas markets played an important role. Exports now account for 21% of overall revenue, playing an increasingly important role in the company's growth trajectory. China's development shines out in particular: in 2025, the Chinese market generated a turnover of €8.7 million, with Callipo-branded products accounting for 95% of the total, a 39.1% increase over the previous year.
