36.7% of employed Italians use Artificial Intelligence in their work, 59.7% do not and 3.6% did not respond. 42.6% of employees are concerned that AI will replace them at work, while 55.3% say that their company's managers place more trust in new technology than in their employees. These are the conclusions of the 9th Censis-Eudaimon Report on Corporate Welfare. According to the report, social media portrays an appealing concept of work that is defined by personal success, leisure, and travel. 64.4% of employed workers believe this image of work is misleading, unrealistic, and false, while 15.6% disagree and 20.0% are undecided. 45.8% of employed workers experience worry when they receive emails, messages, or phone calls outside of business hours. And 43.9% chose to exercise their ‘right to disconnect’, not responding to emails, texts, and phone calls outside of business hours; 49.3% continue to do so, and 6.8% have made no decision in this regard.
