For the ninth year in a row, Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Rome Fiumicino has been recognized as the premier airport in Europe for the excellence of traveler services in the large hub category, with a passenger volume exceeding 40 million. The international trade association Airports Council International (ACI) World announced this recognition at the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Customer Experience Awards 2025, where Ciampino's Giovan Battista Pastine Airport was also recognized for the third year in a row in the category of airports with 2-5 million passengers. Italy's European leadership is reaffirmed by these two new awards, which are managed by Aeroporti di Roma, a Mundys Group entity, the airport system of the capital. The Mundys Group is strengthening its position and quickly seeking to implement the Leonardo da Vinci Airport Development Plan, which is critical to providing adequate service standards and capacity for rising demand.
