In the past few years, revenge porn has affected 1.2 million Italians, while cyberbullying has affected 550,000 young people between the ages of 18 and 24. These findings come from a poll commissioned by Facile.it (a company that compares, promotes, and brokers insurance, financial products, electricity, gas, fiber optics, and long-term vehicle rental rates) and conducted by the research institutes mUp Research and Norstat. The results highlight how phenomena such as cyberstalking, cyberbullying, revenge porn and identity theft are increasingly widespread. The study was carried out on the occasion of the European Day against Harassment, officially celebrated on February 25.
