A school for the training of personnel of the more than 7,000 funeral companies active in Italy has been created. Federcofit, the Federation of the Italian Funeral Industry, has launched this initiative by establishing the Italian School of Funeral Professions (SIPROF), a new specialized training facility designed to provide flexible, high-quality programs that will improve not only the professionalism, but also the personal growth and quality of life of those who choose to work in the funeral industry. Various courses are available, including thanato-aesthetics and thanatopraxy, administrative management of death, forensic and legal medicine, technical director and funeral company operator, business affairs officer, marketing and sales, communication and customer service. The SIPROF catalog provides technical and mandatory training for funeral home employees, as well as behavioral and relational training programs that emphasize personal growth and the quality of professional relationships. Each student is guided through a comprehensive program that integrates technical and operational skills, regulatory knowledge, interpersonal and management skills, and sensitivity in caring for families during these delicate situations, thanks to expert teachers and programs that are always up-to-date with regulations.
