Piaggio, the maker of the Vespa and other internationally recognized scooters, reported a 49% decrease in net profit for 2025 to €34 million ($39 million), which nevertheless exceeded the company's analyst forecast of €32 million. Piaggio stated that it maintained "very" strong margins due to a focus on optimizing its procedures. "Although it is still difficult to provide precise guidance for the immediate future, the group confirms its long-term product strategies in the two-wheeler, commercial vehicle, and advanced robotics sectors", stated Michele Colaninno, the company's CEO.
