The most recent Demopolis poll conducted before the electoral blackout reveals that turnout will determine the outcome of the justice referendum, which is planned for March 22 and 23. If the vote were held today, with an anticipated turnout of 40%, the "No" vote would win by about two percentage points: 41% of voters support the reform, while 43% oppose it. 16% are still unsure about their option. However, if voter turnout increases significantly and reaches 54%, the result might be overturned, with a 42-41 "Yes" vote. Demopolis director Pietro Vento believes that the outcome will be determined by who is most motivated to vote. And center-right voters are more numerous. However, Italians are concerned about other issues these days. The public's attention is clearly focused on the Middle East war, which has erupted following the United States and Israel's attack on Iran. Nearly nine in ten individuals are concerned about the implications of the conflict, which is already harming the Persian Gulf countries. Three out of four respondents are concerned about the conflict's potential to escalate further. 68% are concerned about the severe economic effects for Italy and Europe, which include increased gas and electricity bills, as well as the cost of gasoline and diesel fuel. 60% are concerned about civilian casualties, and more than a third are worried about the return of terrorism and the possible involvement of NATO bases in Italy in the conflict.
