“This year the day will have as its unifying and predominant theme education and training". This was stated by Adolfo Urso, Italy’s Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy, speaking at the press conference presenting the National Made in Italy Day 2026, scheduled for 15 April. Urso pointed out that the anniversary coincides with the birth date of Leonardo da Vinci, a symbolic figure chosen from the beginning to embody the Made in Italy identity, including the Vitruvian Man-inspired design. "The strength of Made in Italy is combined with its identity, with its clear place in a specific territory and culture", said the agriculture minister. The Made in Italy High School, the minister continued, "recorded a 36% increase in enrollments this year compared to the previous year, where growth had already been recorded".
