Rosalía was forced to cut short her concert in Milan after falling ill midway through the show, leaving fans at the Forum in Assago disappointed during the second of her four scheduled Italian dates on the Lux Tour. The Spanish singer reportedly stopped the performance due to a sudden illness linked to food poisoning. Visibly shaken, Rosalía addressed the audience directly to explain the situation and apologise to fans. “I feel sick. I tried to keep going, but I have to stop the show,” she told the crowd. “I wanted you to have the best experience possible. This has never happened to me before. I pushed through, but physically I can’t continue. I did my best.” She then added: “I’m so sorry, Milan, because I really wanted to take this show all the way to the end.” No further updates have yet been provided regarding her condition or whether the date will be rescheduled. Rosalía had returned to Assago with her new Lux Tour, which debuted just days ago at Lyon’s LDLC Arena and had already generated major anticipation among Italian fans. The Milan date, which sold out, was widely seen as one of the most anticipated indoor shows of the spring. Part of that excitement was also driven by the success of her latest album, Lux, which includes the Italian-language track “Mio Cristo piange diamanti.”
