The Accademia della Crusca presented to the public its current activities and the key fields of study that it plans to expand in the next years, as well as its new visual identity, which has undergone a significant redesign in terms of graphics and reference colors. President Paolo D'Achille, accompanied by other academics, presented the several ways in which individuals and businesses can concretely contribute to Crusca activities while also compensating, at least partially, for the reduction in public finances. With the assistance of individuals, organizations, and businesses, the Crusca has the capacity to develop three distinct project lines, which are intended to safeguard heritage and facilitate the advancement of research and innovation initiatives. As a matter of fact, it will be possible to join projects open to widespread funding, such as the restoration of the Academy’s movable assets, with the formula “adopt” a panel painting, a historical archive document, or an ancient library volume; as well as to support restoration, conservation, and enhancement projects of the Academy’s headquarters, the Medici Villa of Castello, a national monument and part of the UNESCO site “Medici Villas and Gardens of Tuscany".
