In the first quarter of 2026, Stellantis registered 696,676 vehicles, up 5% year-on-year versus 2025. Market share increased by 0.21 percentage points to 17.5%, the highest share by quarter since first quarter 2024.
The first quarter of 2026 closed with moderate growth for the European car market (+3.7% versus 2025), with Stellantis increasing both registrations and market share. As highlighted by Emanuele Cappellano, Chief Operating Officer, Enlarged Europe: “The first three months of 2026 have consolidated the recovery process already initiated by Stellantis towards the end of last year. We continue to build strong growth momentum, driven by our business turnaround plan, which is firmly centered on customer needs and supported by a balanced offering in terms of functionality, design and powertrain choice.”
In Italy, Stellantis posted a growth of 6.7% in sales. The top five best selling models in the market are all from Stellantis: the Fiat Pandina ranks first, followed by the Jeep Avenger in second place, Fiat Grande Panda third, Citroën C3 fourth and the Leapmotor T03 in fifth. Leapmotor is the leading brand in the BEV segment.
