The National Library Marciana in Venice, a symbolic place of the book tradition, guardian of ancient manuscripts and centuries-old silence, is enriched with a volume considered the largest, heaviest, and most expensive in the world. "Modern Art - Revolution and Painting" is hand-bound in birch and leather, with a wooden cover made of light-colored leather stamped with heated silver. The 544 pages, lithographed in 25 colors, replicate almost 250 masterpieces from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries in an open size of 100 x 70 cm. Each plate is created to closely adhere to the original dimensions of the paintings, with a focus on color authenticity and stroke quality, providing an experience analyzed down to the finest detail. The print edition is limited and numbered, and the volume is intended to be placed on a lectern as a live work of art. The piece, designed by Alberto Peruzzo, has already received international recognition. It was shown at the 54th International Book Fair in Frankfurt in 2003, and the Financial Times gave it a full-page spread, recognizing its creative and editorial significance.
