The love story between Italians and their homes continues, also driven by social networks and artificial intelligence. 43% of respondents say they have increased the effort devoted to home care in recent years, rising to 65% among Gen Z and 52% among Millennials. 52% of individuals who seek information from social media or influencers have purchased furniture after viewing it online. And those who use an AI-assisted design service make a purchase 80% of the time. This is according to the new Compass Observatory dedicated to home and furniture, which was unveiled during Milan Design Week. These new trends are then put into action: 72% of Italians want to buy at least one item of furniture or accessories within the next 12 months. The bond between Italians and their homes is a defining aspect of the Bel Paese.
