Milan’s Fuorisalone 2026 has concluded with record-breaking attendance, drawing more than 500,000 visitors from around the world over seven days, from April 20 to 26. The event, which takes place alongside the Salone del Mobile, once again transformed the city into a sprawling showcase of design and innovation. Installations were hosted across a wide range of venues, including museums, courtyards, tunnels, and institutional spaces typically closed to the public. According to the official guide, over 1,100 events - including exhibitions and site-specific installations - were spread across multiple neighborhoods and design districts. Widely regarded as one of the most influential design events globally, Fuorisalone attracts architects, creatives, and lifestyle enthusiasts alike. This year’s edition not only set new attendance records but also reinforced Italy’s central role in the global design landscape. The strong international turnout, combined with increasing experimentation in digital and technological storytelling, underscored Milan’s position as a leading capital of creativity and innovation, offering a vibrant counter-narrative to perceptions of a country in decline.
