To avoid overlapping the campaign and budget law drafting, the general election next year could be moved up a few months. Polls should now be read through this lens. The recent Demopolis poll has revealed that the progressive faction, which includes the Democratic Party, Five Star Movement, AVS, +Europa, and Italia Viva, is currently leading the coalition battle with nearly 46% of the vote. In contrast, the parties in the current government majority are anticipated to retain only 45.3% of the vote. 53% of progressive voters believe primaries are required to select a prime ministerial candidate, while 38% would prefer a process that does not involve polling stations. This issue does not occur on the center-right. The institution, led by Pietro Vento, assessed Campo Largo voters' present preferences: given the choice between the leaders of the two main coalition parties, 44% would vote for Elly Schlein and 40% for Giuseppe Conte. 16% would remain uncertain.
