In announcing the transaction's completion, Del Vecchio congratulated "the Riffeser family for their work and the legacy they have built over the years, and all the people who contribute to the quality of these publications every day". The acquisition of Editoriale Nazionale was the result of a project that prioritized "investments that are designed to foster innovation and the growth of individuals, with a particular emphasis on the enhancement of editorial quality and the involvement of prominent journalists who have consistently distinguished the organization", as outlined in a statement announcing its closing.
